Squats and Lunges Core Stability Class with Julie Burtis, DPT
Squats and lunges are key exercises for hip flexibility and lower body strength. In this course we will le
arn how to correctly perform squat and lunge variations and explore their relationship to the standing poses. Previous experience in core stability classes is beneficial but not required.
Written instructions will be provided for home practice. All levels are welcome. Previous experience in core stability classes is beneficial but not required.
Julie Burtis is a physical therapist. Her teaching integrates mindfulness, breath work, and precise therapeutic exercise. She enjoys working with students of all levels and is particularly interested in chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome.
When: Tuesday Evenings, 7:30-8:30 pm, April 7 through April 28.
Fees: $80 for four classes.
